Creating Inclusive Classrooms: The Theory and Practice of Teaching Underrepresented Groups

Minority and Philosophy SASP, in collaboration with the Diversity Reading List, is running a one-day workshop: Creating Inclusive Classrooms. The theory and practice of teaching underrepresented groups. The workshop will be on April 19^th, 2019 from 11 am to 5 pm in School III.

This workshop aims at responding to a growing need in our classrooms: offering inclusive teaching practices and a diversified syllabus engaging to all of our students, including those traditionally underrepresented in higher education. Our speakers are: Annie McCallion (Manchester), Ian Kidd (Nottingham), and Simon Fokt (project manager of the DRL).
